Claude and Gemini can create Google Calendar events (ChatGPT still can't)

So—finally—I can paste in a screengrab and say “make these calendar events”.

Update 2026-03-02: Claude Code can now create calendar events too!

Unbelievably, ChatGPT’s Google Calendar connector is still read-only.
