Claude for Chrome is much better now
Today, I prompted:
I’d like to review some AI Wow metrics. Specifically:
- Substack subscribers
- Website visitors (tracked by Plausbile)
- Blog posts published since December 1st
- Slack messages sent to [REDACTED]
- Toggl time since December 1st
It worked perfectly, and took just a couple of minutes.
The key enabler is that Claude for Chrome has become faster and more reliable over the past two months.
That means (1) and (2) are now a doddle—it just opens a browser tab and reads off the information just as I would. For (3), it curl’d my RSS feed, since that was in memory. For (4), it used the official Slack integration. And for (5), my Toggl skill.
I do this kind of thing all the time, these days. Usually, it just works.1
With great browser use now within easy reach, opportunities for ambitious delegation are everywhere.
