Skill creation just got easier: record your screen while completing a task, narrate as you go, and Claude turns the recording into a reusable skill.

In short: just make a rough version of the screencast you'd use to teach a human colleague.

Codex launched a similar feature last month.

In my quick tests, they worked quite well. The usual story, though: rough edges in the initial release, which will presumably be fixed soon. If you get stuck, just set a reminder to try again in mid-August.
