# Edit documents inline with ChatGPT and Gemini

You can edit drafts by typing, or select text and ask questions:

You—and the LLM—can see the document revision history.

There's no UI for adding comments or suggested edits (though you could do that with [notation](https://claude.ai/share/463681ba-2509-4e77-8c52-e25734476ad5)).

Claude can show your document next to the chat, but you can't edit or select text to chat with:
