# Computer use is now available in the Codex CLI

Computer use landed in my Codex CLI on July 9th, via the official `Computer Use` plugin.

Previously computer use has only been available via the Codex and Claude *desktop apps*, so this is big news if you work from a terminal.

Oddly, this has not yet been announced.
